Did we never land on the moon at all? Was it all a set-up by Hollywood - along the same vein of Orson Welles 1938, War of the Worlds radio broadcast?

Or was what we found there so awe inspiring, and terrifying that they chose to lie about it?

Was there really a “quiet” line, where Armstrong and Aldrin told Houston, “We have a problem?” Did our experiments lead to learning that our moon is hollow, and rings like a bell when struck? Are the photographs altered?

Did we find “other-life” right next door?

There is a lot of debate on whether or not Americans ever actually step foot on the moon. Between incorrect shadow placements, a “waving” flag with no atmosphere, and many published works by credible authors - the evidence stacks up significantly, saying we did not.

This is a belief I myself have held for years.

…that we never made it there.

It was all faked.

However, in recent months I have found immense amounts of evidence that not only points to the contrary, but also develops this story into one full of so many cover-ups, and lies - that it makes it impossible to not believe anymore.

We made it.

And what we found is - literally - out of this world.

First, let me explain how some of the claims of having never made it can be debunked.

People use this first photo as a claim that we never made it to the moon, and that it was - in fact - a set-up by Hollywood. They claim that, with the Sun as the only light source for the Moon, that the shadows of Neil Armstrong and the object next to him should be parallel to each other. While at first glance, this does seem like some solid proof that it could be a studio shot with extra lighting - this claim is easily debunked with a quick look outside when the sun is hanging low in the sky. It all just depends on the perspective of the camera and light source.

The next largest debate is perhaps the easiest to explain. How could our flag possibly be waving on a moon with supposedly no atmosphere?

The American People were determined to fly their flag on the moon, and to be the first to do so. This means that every kink needed to be worked out ahead of time - including how to “fly” a flag with no atmosphere. However, if you look closely at the photo above, (or any photo of our flag that day,) - specifically across the top of the flag itself - it is easy to see the telescopic pole that was added in advance, to ensure that the flag would fly proudly. In short, they were prepared for this atmosphere less environment, and took the necessary precautions to make it such.

There are many, many more claims as to WHY people believe we never walked on the moon - but each claim seems to be explained easily enough in the end.

That is, however, until we start getting to the firsthand reports of people who claim to have been a part of the ultimate cover-up. People like Bill Kaysing, and his self published book, We Never Went to the Moon: America’s Thirty Billion Dollar Swindle. Originally published in 1976, this book was one of the many to start the “Moon Hoax Craze,” making people wonder what exactly happened July 21st, 1969. Though, as a former employee for a company that built rockets for NASA, Kaysing seems to be a credible enough witness - there are also a total 400,000 engineers, astronauts, and the like that worked on the 14-year Apollo mission that obviously state otherwise.

…and instances such as this where our information starts getting dicey…

(and heavily redacted from the public view.)

If we made it to the moon, and everything is exactly as it’s been said for over 50 years, then why all of the skepticism surrounding this landing? Is it reasonable to believe that the pressure of a “hoax” is, in fact, a cover in and of itself?

Richard Doty, a former Air Force special investigations officer, starred in the 2014 documentary, Mirage Men, which “suggests there was conspiracy by the U.S. military to fabricate UFO folklore in order to deflect attention from classified aerospace projects.

I will leave you here with the trailer from this documentary to ponder on until next time. Check out Part 2 of our Moon discussion, where we will figure out what we found when we did land.

Until then keep your eyes to the skies, and keep searching for the truth.
